Welcome

The purpose of Scotland County Schools’ Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Program is to provide a challenging and rigorous educational experience for students who demonstrate, or have the potential to demonstrate, high levels of performance when compared to peers of similar age, experience, and environment. Gifted education in Scotland County serves students in kindergarten through grade twelve who consistently perform above grade level and require additional academic differentiation to reach their full potential.

The Scotland County Schools AIG teachers, facilitators, and administrators look forward to partnering with you and your child. We are committed to ensuring that all students receive rigorous and engaging instruction that supports them in achieving their highest levels of learning. If you have any questions or concerns about the AIG program, please reach out to the AIG Department or your child’s school-based AIG facilitator.
