Meredith Bounds, a lifelong Scotland County resident and Scotland High School alum, began her professional career in public education in Scotland County in 2012 serving as the district’s Public Information Officer until 2021.  She went on to work with Hoke County Schools as their Director of Public Relations from 2021 to the present.  Bounds also serves as the current Southeast Region Education Consortium PIO Chair and North Carolina/South Carolina School Public Relations Association member.
