Board of Education Meeting Schedule Update
The Scotland County Board of Education has approved a change to the meeting schedule for both its Regular Monthly Meetings and Committee of the Whole Meetings. These new meeting times will take effect beginning with the Regular Monthly Meeting on Monday, July 13, 2026.
Regular Monthly Meetings (2nd Monday of each month)
Closed Session: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Open Session (Public Meeting): Begins at 6:00 p.m.
Committee of the Whole Meetings (4th Monday of each month)
Closed Session: 5:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Open Session (Public Meeting): Begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Board of Education values transparency and encourages community members to attend the public portion of our meetings as we continue working together to serve the students, staff, and families of Scotland County Schools.
