Student Transfer Request Information

All students are expected to attend school in the attendance district where their parent or legal guardian live. However, student transfer requests to a different school may be considered under the district’s School Assignment Policy.

To request a transfer, families must complete and submit the official form to the principal of the requested school. A separate, fully completed and signed form is required for each student, and all requests must include a detailed reason for the transfer.

Please also remember:

• Transportation must be provided by the parent or guardian.
  
  

• Approved transfers are for one school year only.
  
  

• Students must remain in good standing and follow all school rules.
  
  

• Medical hardship requests must include proper documentation.
  
  

The deadline to submit transfer requests is July 1.
