Students Return to Plan A
Board of Education Approves Plan A
At the Committee of the Whole Meeting on Monday, March 22, the Scotland County Schools Board of Education approved Plan A as an in-person learning option for all students (PreK-13). Accordingly, all parents have until March 30th to choose from one of the following learning options beginning April 12th until the end of the school year:
- Plan A - Four days of in-person learning, four days per week ( Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day.
- Plan C - 100% online instruction for the remainder of the school year.
Parents who select Plan C must remain on Plan C for the remainder of this school year. Parents who select Plan A may participate in Plan A for the remainder of the school year OR switch one time and go to Plan C for the remainder of the school year.
Schools will be reaching out to families to collect updated responses for all students in preparation to return to school under Plan A on Monday, April 12th.
