In addition to my role as an educator, I am first and foremost a father and a husband. My wife and i have three children, 2 of whom attend Scotland County Schools, while our oldest is in college and is a graduate of Scotland High School. I have a vested interest in the success of our school, school district and community. I look forward to supporting our amazing students, families, and staff.

I firmly believe that every child can be successful and that the partnership between home and school builds confidence and provides the necessary support that our students need to be successful. My conversations with SEarCH staff and district leaders have provided me with insights into the beliefs and values that are a part of the great success here at SEarCH. With our shared goal of continuing the tradition of excellence, I am committed to exploring ways to meet the needs of all students and to effectively communicate and engage with students, staff, parents and community members. We will be conducting meetings throughout the year to identify specific goals in the areas of student achievement, school climate, and parent communication.

For our students, I cannot wait to see what we can accomplish this school year! I hope that you are excited about this coming school year and I look forward to learning from you and supporting you this year. In closing, please know that my door is always open to you.
