  • Camp Opportunities

    Check out these week long camp opportunities open to all Scotland County Schools middle school students. Camps are FREE and will feature coaches & mentors from both Carver and Spring Hill Middle Schools.

    Volleyball Camp (grades 5-8)
    Ms. Libby Ingram (volleyball coach Carver Middle)
    August 2 and August 3 - 9 am until noon each day

    Wrestling Camp (grades 5-8)
    Mr. Mitchell Johnson (state champion at SHS, Conference champion at UNCG)
    Mr. Benson Bell (Wrestled at SHS and Morgan State Univ.) 
    August 2 and August 3 - 1 pm until 3 pm each day

    Basketball camps

    Ms. Tyreeka Johnson (Girls basketball coach-Carver Middle)
    Mr. Roshein McClain (Boys basketball coach-Carver Middle)

    Girls’ camp
    grades 4-8 July 30-August 1 - 10 am until noon each day
    Boy’s camp:
    grades 5-8 July 30-August 1 - 1 pm until 3 pm each day

    Saturday August 4
    4 pm until 7 pm grades 4-8

    Blue Blazer Leadership Academy
    Blazer Academy is limited to rising 7th and 8th graders. There are currently only twenty-five (25) seats available. Camp dates are Monday July 30 thru Wednesday August 1. Camp begins promptly each morning at 10 am and ends at noon. 
    Dress shirt, tie, and slacks are required each day of camp. 
    Dress code is non-negotiable.

    Volleyball, wrestling, basketball camps will be held at Carver.

    Football camp will take place on SHS practice field

    Blue Blazer Academy will be held at Rainbow 66 Storehouse (former Washington Park school).

  • Fall Sports

    Students interested in athletics at Carver must have a physical on file, or in hand, on the first day of practice. Students without physicals will not be allowed at practice as a participant or as a spectator. Click here to access the physical form.


    We anticipate another amazing year on the field, court, mat, track and in the classroom.

  • Girls Track

    We are excited to announce that our Carver girls track team will make their official debut this fall. Qualified students will be 7th & 8th graders with a valid physical on file or in hand on the first day of practice. Please come out and join our team. Our head coach is Mrs. Emily Smith.
