Mission Statement

  • It is the mission of Laurel Hill Elementary to nurture a successful community of life-long learners in a global society through high academic and social expectations for all students.

    Packets went home on Monday. You may order magazines, or simply fill out seven address cards in order for your child to receive a "Coop". See the information letter below (that will also go home Monday). Also, click on the link to view the informational video. All proceeds will go towards buying books for the library.

  • pumpkins

    Pumpkin decorating contest is Thursday, October 25th - all pumpkins are to be brought in by 9:00 a.m.


    The Fall Carnival will be Thursday, October 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

  • Book Fair

    Our Fall Book Fair will be from November 8-16.

    Parents of students who will be in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade: This year your child will use a brand new chromebook that is assigned just to them. Parents are required to attend an orientation before a student is allowed to take the device home. There is a $25 tech fee along with each device that also has to be paid before chromebooks can go home with students.

  • Remember that students need to maintain a certain average as well as earn their points in order to attend the AR event at the end of the year.

    1st grade-70%

    2nd grade-75%

    3rd-5th grade--80%

    This reinforces our Superstar "High Academic Expectations".

  •  Boxtops     

    Our School earned over $900 from Boxtops in 2017-2018.

    Keep clipping!  Turn them in to Mrs. Jorgensen in the library.  

    They can be put in a ziploc bag and turned in for a treat!!
