  • PowerSchool Cybersecurity Incident Information

    On the afternoon of Tuesday, January 7, the PowerSchool Corporation alerted North Carolina public schools and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) to a cybersecurity incident impacting student and teacher data across their global client base. This incident was not isolated to North Carolina, affecting most states throughout the country as well as internationally.

  • Exceptional Children Survey

    The North Carolina Department for Exceptional Children conducts an annual survey of parents of children receiving special education. It is an opportunity to report how well each school system includes you in the IEP process and the education of your child. Your response lets the State and your district know how well they are doing or how they can improve parent involvement.
